Highlights:
1. NEW!! There is NOW an oral version of Wegovy. It comes in 4 doses - the starting dose and next one are $149 a month without insurance until April. The next 2 doses are $299 a month. It’s not quite as “easy” to take as weekly injections, but definitely an option. The medication has to be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with a few sips of water. Then nothing to eat or drink for at least 30 minutes. This has to be done every day! The statistics for weight loss are good and the side effects of G.I. upset are a little bit more than the injectables. But definitely an option!!
2. Updates regarding tirzepatide pricing and availability. There is an option to prescribe a compounded tirzepatide mixed with a small amount of B12 - Tirzepatide Plus). See below for options. Also, for patients and maintenance and switching to a “microdose” style of administration, there is going to be an option as well.
3. Updates regarding semaglutide pricing and availability… see below for injectable info and in mid-January there will be an oral version of Wegovy.
4. Updates regarding liraglutide pricing and availability. (Name brand Saxenda)
5. Lots of other GLP options.
6. Recheck your insurance for 2026 coverage of Zepbound or Wegovy or Saxenda through the customer service number on your insurance card. For guidance on the specific medications, use these links below. If it asks for your provider, enter Evelyn Kikta in Tarpon Springs FL. In some cases, I could send through three months at a time (or more if stock is available), and my service fee will be $45x3=$135. (It actually saves you a little $ because Push Heath tacks on a processing fee, and this way there is only one processing fee for the 3 months) Since you are still paying my monthly service fee, you will still be able to access me for any help. Still check in with me monthly!

10. As of 12/1/25, I can prescribe and send your Rx for Zepbound (tirzepatide) single use vials (not auto injectors) to Lilly Direct and it is shipped to your home. (2.5mg is $299 for 4 weeks, 5.0mg is $449 for 4 weeks. 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, 15mg vials are $449 for the first fill and refills IF refills are done within 45 days of previous fill. ALSO— there may be a multidose pen available as well!
11. If you are NEW to Wegovy, I can prescribe you an Rx for Wegovy (semaglutide), all strengths $199 a month for 2 months through the manufacture’s recommended pharmacy. For CURRENT Wegovy patients, it is now $349 a month for all dosages. See below.
12. Switch to the generic compounded Liraglutide (name brand Saxenda, Victoza). No restrictions on compounding this medication. BUT liraglutide must be injected daily. Not weekly.
13. Compounded semaglutide is available again. See below.
14. As of this date, I am able to prescribe Tirzepatide Plus compound which includes a small amount of B12 from a certified compound pharmacy in Florida. They will ship direct to your home.
15. Consider adding prescription lipotrophic injections to help with energy, cravings, nausea, etc.
16. Consider LDN capsules(low dose naltrexone) for help with cravings, nighttime snacking, anti inflammatory, and “anti-aging,” benefits.
17. Consider NAD+ injections (a peptide - nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) Benefits- “anti-aging”, improved metabolism, cellular improvement, increased energy, improved cognition.
18. Information on ivermectin. Although NOT technically for weight loss, some patients find that Ivermectin reduces inflammation, which makes some people “feel better” and more apt to increase their exercise/movement. Originally indicated as an anti parasitic agent, new information is showing additional benefits, especially in “long covid” symptoms.
19. Regarding skin health matters, ask me about Tretinoin(RetinA).
20. Consider Sermorelin therapy - a synthetic peptide that helps stimulate your pituitary glad to increase your own “growth hormone” to hopefully help with fat metabolism, muscle mass, weight management, energy levels, sex drive, skin elasticity, cognitive function, etc. Dosage recommendations are nightly subQ injections, sublingual oral troches, or a nasal spray.
20. Consider Glutathione therapy - this peptides is considered a powerful antioxidant and has a multitude of benefits from decreasing inflammation to improving skin and overall health. This is a weekly injection.

For now, I am available to my patients 7 days a week, however I DO have to sleep, eat, exercise, go to church, spend time with my family, etc. (LOL!) So - I get a notification if you send me a message through here or if you Request a Medication from your dashboard. I try to respond to messages in between my other patients, and if I see an urgent need, I will try to respond quickly. If for some reason I don’t respond within 24 hours, please message me again! Or sooner if you need me ASAP. Please understand that I never want to ignore something that is important to YOU! If you are not feeling well, I definitely do not want you to wait!!! (I have a lot of patients who work night shifts, so messaging on here anytime is fine…..I will receive the notification in morning)
Messages can easily get buried on here when things get busy, but I NEVER want to miss your message! And it can get VERY busy....so forgive my typos, my talk-to text blunders, and if I seem abrupt I'm probably just moving fast :) Once a patient is established with my practice, I can offer telephone and video consultations as well as provide you my cell number for texting or calling in an emergency.

For my weight management program- All the weight loss plans require reevaluation and update every month. (Not everyone qualifies for everything.)
As long as some dosages of Mounjaro, Zepbound, Wegovy and Ozempic are in short supply, the FDA will allow the compounded generic options. I only utilize FDA inspected and approved compounding pharmacies.
Lately, some compound pharmacies I recommend have improved their turnaround times for me (specifically for semaglutide, tirzepatide, and BioBoost Plus) to 7 business days!
Regarding Mounjaro, Zepbound, Wegovy and Ozempic, if you think you have insurance coverage for these meds and you qualify medically for one of these medications, I will write this prescription for you, but I cannot guarantee that any pharmacy has it or that any insurance company will pay for it yet. So keep that in mind when you agree to pay my service fee. My service fees are not refundable. But know the compounded generic options ARE available. Thanks!
Regarding needing a Prior Authorization for a medication: So I’m sure you understand I can’t do a prior authorization on a medication until it is prescribed. So when you are ready, request the medication here. If it is medically appropriate for you, I’ll prescribe it, and when the pharmacy receives the prescription, they will attempt to run it through your insurance, and a prior authorization will be initiated by the pharmacy. Then I receive the part that I need to complete (as the prescriber) and we go from there. I may need recent lab results to complete it for you so try to get those or I can order for you.
Also, depending on the complexity of your prior authorization process, I may have to charge patients for my time. Since I’m not a provider for your insurance company, and you are using my services outside of your insurance, I have no easy access to all of the information I will need to gather to complete the PA. Some of the prior authorizations take well over an hour plus multiple faxes and phone calls on my part. Hopefully it won’t be difficult! But, I will be upfront with you. If it is a “simple” PA, that's great and there is no additional charge. But if it ends up being super complex, I will invoice you for my service fee once it gets to that point. I will be very transparent with you about that. Some insurance companies will rule on the PA within 72 hours, while others take 30 days.
For most of my patients, the Push Health “app” is the best way to use the features on here, but you can use a computer as well. You can download the app at any time. There is a new Android update so that should help my Android patients.
